Thank you Capry! Yes, there is something called 'chicory coffee' which is chicory's roasted root - it tastes quite similar to coffee and is much cheaper. They used to call it 'poor man's coffee' back in the day. I use it sometimes instead of coffee to reduce caffeine.
the one i drink is 100 chicory - either ground or instant, both taste pretty nice and smooth. I get it from the Russian store though, not sure what other stores have. It tastes like coffee with a slight flavor.
Hey Maria…
How are you doing.
I bought the blend coffee with 30 percent chicory and the rest real coffee.
It tasted good.
A bit dark than the usual but I liked it.
☕
Glad you liked it! It is a bit of an acquired taste - you will probably like it more with time:)
I love that he knew exactly where it was and wanted to take his daughter to see it.
☺️☺️ He was my favorite person ever when I was a child.. I was very fortunate to have parents who connected me with nature very early on.
It’s quite pretty when you look closely
Indeed it is!
Beautiful flower. Beautiful reflection.
Thank you so much Joseph! ❣️
Such a beautiful tender flower.
One question though.
I heard Chicory is sometimes added in coffee powder..
By any chance does this flower belong to that variety..

How does it taste.
I saw a coffee blend with 30 percent chicory in it.
Didn't buy it though.

Thank you Maria.
Sure! Let me know what you think of the taste
Sure Maria.
At sunlight, memories, amazing day
Wishing, like Millay, to open the sky
Knowing that flowers can and will
Be picked, and physicality is frail
That chicory had roots I pulled
But all the other roots still hold
